offered, we offer the following services essential to
the smooth operation of most care homes.
Pressure System Repairs
We repair and service ALL makes of pressure relieving
mattresses. These repairs can be carried out on your premises
but the most cost-effective way (to avoid high Engineer callout costs)
is to have the damaged system collected for our in-house examination.
We can loan you a replacement system to cover the time that your own system
is away. We will also provide an estimate of the repair cost
before proceeding with your repair to give you peace of mind
about the expense. The replacement loan system is then
collected when the repaired system is returned to you.
These repairs are warranted for a period of three months covering
the repair carried out.
Patient Lifting Hoist Repairs
We also repair ALL makes of patient lifting hoists. These repairs
are almost always better carried out in our workshop.
We will provide an estimate of the repair cost before
proceeding with your repair to give you peace of mind about
the expense. We will also offer to part-exchange a lifter
before repair if, in your judgement, the repair is uneconomic.
Hiring Of Pressure Reliving Active Systems
Active/Dynamic pressure relieving systems are available
for hire to cover the full range of risk category products. The minimum
hire period is one week. Please enquire about our competitive
charges for this service. Many care homes find the
cost-effectiveness of hiring against purchasing a considerable
advantage.
Hiring Of Patient Lifting Hoists
Patient lifting hoists are also available for hire with a minimum
period of one month. Hoists can be made available for a
variety of weight limits to suit the patient requirements.
Slings are available but are not hired owing to their
relative cheapness and to avoid any danger of cross-infection.

Decontamination Of Pressure Systems
A fully equipped laundry facility is available for your
use (either in conjunction with the repair service or as a
separate service) which decontaminates and cleans to our approved
standard. Harvest Healthcare are now operating a revolutionary
laundry system – OTEX – utilising a unique method of producing
ozone and injecting it into the wash process to wash to
the highest standards and at the same time kill all bacteria.
OTEX kills all bacteria including superbugs such as MRSA
and C.diff on all wash cycles and validates disinfection providing
a printed receipt, offering a full audit trail as well as peace of mind.
